Ashley Square is a new senior living (62+) residence located in Jacksonville. Ashley Square is a six-story building, with two floors of parking, an amenities area located on the ground level, and four floors consisting of 96 one-bedroom and 24 two-bedroom units totaling 120 units. All apartments are equipped with multiple energy-efficient features, including a kitchen, bathroom(s), and storage closets. Tampa-based Blue Sky Communities LLC and nonprofit Aging True Community Senior Services recently converted a 1.03-acre parking lot into 96 one-bedroom, 650-square-foot units and 24 two-bedroom, 900-square-foot units.
The lot is bordered by Beaver, Ashley and Newnan streets, west of the Stevens Duval Apartments. The site plan also calls for a 160-space, ground-level parking garage with the apartments built above it.
