At Downtown Vision, we are place managers, connectors, strategists and activators for Downtown Jacksonville. As the Business Improvement District (BID) for Downtown Jacksonville, we’re dedicated to improving the heart of our city because a better Downtown means a better Northeast Florida!

Our Downtown Ambassadors are on the ground seven days a week helping to make Downtown Jacksonville clean, safe and friendly, with services including pressure washing, debris removal, and neighborhood patrols. 🌳 🌷

Our Events team works hard to create fun things to do in #DTJax. Our recurring events such as First Wednesday Art Walk and Third Thursday Sip & Stroll Presented by PNC bring thousands of people together in Downtown Jacksonville monthly. And our annual events and programs, such as Jax River Jams, Halloweek, and The Merry and Bright Movie Night invite visitors from all over Northeast Florida to explore what’s special about our Downtown community! 🎉

Do you know what this building is in #DTJax? 🏙

Designed by by architect Henry John Klutho, the St. James building is one of our oldest in the Urban Core. Opened in 1912, this building was first known as the St. James Hotel before it was destroyed by the Great Fire of 1901. Later, the building became Cohen Brothers’ Department Store and today, it is used as Jacksonville's City Hall. ⭐️
